Can I load unlimited images into the Magento Productslider?
You can, but remember that the functionality is based on mouse-cursor interaction, we recommend to make use of not more than 15 images in total.
Why do my product images have such a huge spacing between them?
It's possible, that you have set the value for "Spacing" within the Magento Admin-Panel to a high number. Another explanation is, that your images do have a lot of blank space by nature. You might have a need to crop your product images.
The Images don't seem to scale on Mouse-Over, even I've set a Scaling factor, what's the problem?
You need to define some spacing between the images infact for scaling to work. This is because we don't want the images overlap. Images will stop scaling, when they reach a specific size, that would make the current image overlap the other ones to the left and to the right.
I get an "Access Denied" on the Productsliders Configuration Page after installation.
Simply Log-Out the Backend and Log-In again. The Configuration Page should work now.
The Extension dosn't show-up in the advanced panel on the Configuration page after installation.
Goto System -> Cache Management and refresh all cache.
Is it possible to make the products link to a specific page, that I can define in the backend?
In the current extension release (1.5.3), each product, that you define to be displayed in the Productslider itself, is naturally linked to the related product-page by default.
I am interested in purchasing the Productslider extension, but I am concerned about the ability to change the height and width.
Changing the width and height of the Productslider is pretty easy. You just have to open the Template-File, that comes with the Productslider and edit the values for width and height.
Can I use several different Productsliders on my Magento Store?
Yes, this is possible since the version 1.5. If you have an older version of Productslider just ask us to send you the newest version.
Is the Productslider capable of auto-sliding the product images?
The Productslider is not capable of auto-slide in its current release (1.5.3). The basic idea of this extension was meant to create an interactive mouse-controlled image slider basically.

I have purchased a licence. What is the licence-key good for you have sent attached?
The Licence-Key is already integrated in the Extension copy you received from us, so don't mind - you won't have to put it anywhere. Just keep it somewhere, you might need to indicate the Licence-Key when you request Customer Support from us.
When I export products I get "Deactivated" in the addtoproductslider field, why that?
The Problem is we store the internal Image ID in the addtoproductslider field. Actually, if you export products and import them somewhere else the Image IDs could be totally different in the other Database so the wrong images would get referenced. Thats why we dont export the path or the ID and just fill the field with "Deactivated".
I get the following Errormessage when I try to save a Product: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'e.addtoproductslider' in 'field list'
Goto the System -> Cache Management and press the "Rebuild Flat Catalog Product"-Button. Afterwards the Errormessage should disappear.
Which Productslider versions are compatible with Magento 1.4
All Productslider versions equal/above 1.6 work together with Magento 1.4. Please do not install older versions on Magento 1.4 shops if you dont want to run into problems.
